Che Puerto Escondido Hostel & Bar truly stands out as a vibrant oasis where one can enjoy an unforgettable experience. I had the pleasure of spending Christmas here, which quickly turned into an extended stay of 12 nights, thanks to the congenial atmosphere and fantastic facilities. With a stunning terrace overlooking the lush garden and a refreshing outdoor swimming pool, it offered plenty of serene spots for relaxation, as well as a lovely shared kitchen for those rustic evening meals after a day of exploring. The staff, particularly the wonderful Anshelo at reception, was both warm and accommodating, effortlessly ensuring we had everything we needed for a delightful stay. I appreciated their strong command of English, which made communication easy, while the majority Spanish-speaking team added authenticity to the experience. Breakfast options were delightful, featuring both American and continental selections that fueled our adventures exploring the nearby hotspots. For those leaning towards a social experience, the lively happy hours and fun karaoke nights lent themselves perfectly to meeting fellow travellers. I found the joyful balance between engaging in activities or unwinding in a hammock with a good book – a personal touch that complemented my love for historical novels. If you're seeking a welcoming hostel that caters to your every need while allowing you the space to simply unwind, look no further than Che Puerto Escondido.
